We may also periodically put out polls/surveys where we will collect information from you if you affirmatively provide it to us.

If you sign up for WISP Tandems or Equal Respect Speakers Bureau, we will collect personal information from you and information related to your interests and expertise.

We also passively collect information via Google Analytics as well as other service providers that help us improve site performance. Information we collect includes, but is not limited to, your browser, general location, and other browsing based information. Google Analytics opt-out: Google Analytics Opt-Out

TECHNOLOGY WE USE.

We use cookies to collect information. If you don't like cookies, there are a number of services you can use to block cookies on your browser.

We use third party service providers to collect and store your information, and to reach you, e.g. via email or ads. Such providers include Mailchimp, Eventbrite, and Facebook.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION.

We use your information for various purposes to further our mission to advance women in the industry, including to invite you to events, connect you to other members, reach you  via ads, and make our site and programs better.  We use your information internally to gather insights about our organization and women across the industry.  We may then share these insights on an aggregated or anonymized basis, either publicly or with third parties (e.g. how many people are enrolled in our programs).

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION.

We will share your information with our third party service providers, payment processors, event partners, with nonprofit organizations that sponsor us or with whom we partner.  For Tandems, we will share your info with any WISP Tandem partners with whom you are shared.  For the Equal Respect Speakers Bureau, we will share your info with potential organizations looking for speakers (or with speakers if you are looking for a speaker) and with the individuals that run Equal Respect.   We may also share aggregate information with third parties for processing for statistical and market research.

HOW WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION.

We will store your information as long as we think it could be helpful to WISP and advancing women in the security and privacy industry. If you would like us to delete your information, please contact us.

By sharing information with us, you consent to the worldwide transfer and processing of your information, even in jurisdictions that may have less restrictive privacy practices than your own.

OPT-OUT AND DELETION.
