Women in Security and Privacy (WISP) has partnered with GitHub to offer 5 scholarships to this year's Universe '24 conference. Universe '24 takes place on October 29-30, 2024 in San Francisco, CA.

GitHub is the home for all developers and Universe is an opportunity to explore the future of software development. Universe is for enterprises, startups, open source communities, security officers, partners, and any developer interested in discovering how GitHub can help them accelerate their development experience.

Please only apply if you are confident you will use the scholarship and only complete the application form once. The scholarship includes a General Admission registration (valued at $1,299).

  • Includes access to all areas EXCEPT keynote theater. Keynotes will be viewable at broadcast areas throughout the venue.

  • DOES NOT include workshops or certifications, those may be purchased separately. 

  • Letters of invitation for U.S. visas are not provided for this scholarship.

  • The scholarship is first-come, first-served, so act fast!

  • It covers event registration only—travel and accommodation are not included
